ASHHURST SALE.
Dalgcty and Coy., Ltd., report useful entries in all sections at the Ashhurst sale on Wednesday. Good competition was forthcoming for all lots submitted, and a very sound sale resulted. Wo quote:— Fat owes, 22s sd, 22s 6d; fat wothers, 255; b.f. hoggets, 21s 6d, 22s 6d. Fat heifers, £5 15s, £7, £7 12s 6d; fat Jersey cows, £4 Bs, £5 3s, £5 _7s 6d, £5 11s, £6 ss; store cows, £1; dairy heifers, calved, £7; second calvers, £6 ss.
