NOVEL PARTY.

A number of young people w’ere entertained on Saturday evening by the Misses M., E. and G. Hancox. at their home in Featherston Street, the party taking the novel form of a “scavenger hunt.” Mr and Mrs G. G. Hancox acted as host and hostess. After a great deal of fun the winning couples proved to be Miss S. Anderson and Mr K. Retter, and Miss M. Hancox and Mr A. Fisher. Supper was served in rooms artistically decorated ■with carnations and/ Iceland poppies, and dancing was carried on until midnight. Thanks to Mr and Mrs Hancox were conveyed by Mr B. Potter Among those present were: Mr and Mrs ,J. A. Wilkinson, Mrs L. M. Boyes, Misses J. Northey, S. Anderson, L. Atkins, T. Boniface, J. Clark, G. Peters, M. Cleaver, P. Mclvain, P. Hobbs, jP. Clarke. M. Coulter. Messrs A. Fisher, S. Boniface, B. Vt. Potter, S. Sapwell, V. Hart. D. Kilgour, K. Retter, R. Knight, J. Pritchard, R. Hobbs, M. Orr, M. Dalefield, W. W. Young and M. btiatford.
