Soul and Body, was. the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches of Chnst, Scientist, on Sunday. The Golden Text was Psalm 62; 5; “My soul, wait thou only upon God : for my expectation is from Him.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “For we walk by faith, not by sight; we are confident, I say, and willing rather to he absent from the body, and to he present with the Lord.” (II Cor. 5; 7,8.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science [and Health with Kev to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy; “The evidence of the existence of Spirit. Soul, is.palpable only to spiritual sense, and is not apparent to the material sense, which cognise only that which is the opposite of Spirit.”
