ANNUAL BALL.

FEILDING OLD BOYS’ FOOTBALL CLUB. The second animal ball of the Feilding Old Boys’ Football Club, was held in the Drill Hall, last flight, and proved to be a very enjoyable function. It had been well organised and a programme of modern and old-time dancing was indulged in. The committee who supervised the arrangements to ensure the smooth running comprised: Mesdames L. Jenkins, wearing flame r cloque; L. G. Moore, wine crepe-de-chine; C. N. Avery, black Ottoman silk and scarlet shoulder spray; Wilson, wine satin beaute; Miss G. Adams, blue ripple matalasse; Mesdames Edhouse, black silk and black velvet coatee; Irving and Kennedy, Messrs N. Ende, H. Waugh, L. Jenkins, J. Dewe, J. Findlay (secretary), N. Avery, D. Walker, and P. Silcoek. The hostesses included Mesdames W. E. Baker, wearing mulberry lace, gold flowers at corsage; G. J. Fitzpatrick, black cloque marocaine, black evening coat; W. E. Hills, wine crepe-de-chine, beige trimming. Black and white streamers and coloured lights formed the decorations, which were capably carried out by Mr Tnnis-Jones, assisted hv willing helpers. The streaniers were arranged to form a false ceiling, and Irom the <entre of the hall hung a kewpie dressed in the club’s uniform, even to miniature head gear.
