WOMAN’S DEATH.

Per Press Association. MASTERTON ,oct. 19. An inquest was held to-day on the death of Mrs Isaboll Jacfvon, who was fatally burned in a fire it her home on the morning of October 6. Tho Coroner, Mr E. G. Eton, returned a verdict of death from shock and severe burns. Evidence showed that the fire was caused through an electric iron being left on in mistake for a radiator, and when the latter was seen to be out it was concluded that the switch had been turned off. The late Mrs Jackson was a wellknown and highly-respected resident, and was prominent as a social worker.
