OROUA ELECTORATE.
The boundary of the Oroua electorate at present, after skirting Feilding on the Awahuri side of the town, follows a straight line just including Bunnytliorpe and Whakarongo, across the Manawatu River to the summit of the Tararua Ranges, the Aokautcre township being just within the Palmerston electorate. The eastern boundary of the Oroua electorate then follows the ranges to a point nearly duo past of Waiourn, many miles north of Tailmpe on the Main Trunk line. From that northernmost point the boundary runs westward in an irregular line to join the railway, niter turning southward, just below Taihapc, leaving that town in the Rangitikei electorate. North of Mangaweka, at the junction of the Rangitikei and Kawhatau Rivers, the boundary again turns westward, and although not in a direct line, goes toward Mangamahu, to cross the Turakina River south of Pukoroa. The boundary then runs south, taking in Hunterville and Rata to join the Rangitikei River a little south of the latter township. The river is then followed to midway between Halcombs and Bulls. From there the boundary runs in a straight line to just short of Makino to join from there with the point outside Feilding again.
