The Daily Telegraph says that Signor Tito Schipa said: “Signor Mussolini wijl ask me everything about the trouble 1 have had in Sydney; I will tell him and he will be very angry. Signor Mussolini is a great lriend of mine.”

Signor Schipa leaves for New Zealand by the Mariposa to-day. He added: “I do not know why I have to go. 1 wanted to sing in Queensland as well, but my manage-* meat says ‘No.’ Xliey stop me. It is ridiculous. So I go—pushed away to New Zealand.” Air E. J. Tait said that no concerts had been arranged for Signor Schipa in Brisbane because suitable dates could not be arranged.

BROADCAST FROM LINER

SYDNEY, July 22. Arrangements have been made for the New Zealand people to hear the Italian tenor, Signor Tito Schipa, who is en route to America by the Mariposa from which he will broadcast on Sunday night when within a few miles of the New Zealand coast.

The Mayor of Auckland, Sir Ernest Davis, who is a passenger, will introduce Schipa. Benno Moiseiwitseh, the famous pianist, is also a passenger.
