ATLANTIC FLIGHT.
CALEDONIA’S RETURN TRIP.

The Imperial Airways’ flying-boat Caledonia, which took off for Ireland at 0.25 p.m. on her return flight, arrived at Fovnes at 10.32 a.m. The flight took 727 minutes, compared with the clipper’s eastward time of 754 minutes. The average speed was 175 miles an hour. The Caledonia and the American Clipper passed each other at 3 a.m. Captain Wilcocksen is favoured by a following wind and wirelessed that he hoped to arrive at Foynes at 10.40 a.m.
CLIPPER ARRIVES
Received July 17. 9.30 a.m. PORT BOTWOOD (Newfoundland), Julv 16.
The Pan-American clipper arrived at 6.49 a.m.. making the crossing in lo hours 38 minutes.
