FATALITY NEAR HASTINGS.

Per Press Association. HASTINGS, July 17. When the motor cycle he was riding was struck hv n motor lorry near the Whakatu freezing works last night, Leslie Clyde Rovce. married, aged 23, with one child, was killed instantly. The lorry was driven by Russell William Spencer, aged 17. RAILWAY WORKER KILLED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 17. A railway worker, Augustus Oscar Cottington, aged 57 years, was killed yesterday at Ohau, Kaikoura, when _he was crushed by a number of loaded trucks on the railway construction works.
