FEILDING STOCK SALE.
BIG YARDING OF FAT SHEEP. A heavy yarding of fat sheep came forward for the weekly stock sale at Feilding to-day, the accommodation being taxed to its utmost. Both ewes and wethers of good quality were yarded in excess of the advertised numbers, while a medium entry of fat lambs was also penned. In the store sheep pens a very heavy yarding of hoggets of exceptional quality and condition was under offer, while breeding ewes again came forward in lar%a numbers. Several pens of good store wethers were yarded. Station beef cattle were yarded in larger numbers than have been seen in the Feilding yards for some considerable time, while there was also a medium entry of beef cx-dairy lines. Springing, close to profit, dairycows and heifers were yarded in medium numbers; the quality of the entry being good. Three or lour pens of good yearling Jersey heifers were offered.. Prices up to 1 p.m were as follow : Eat sheep! —Lambs, 18s 6d, 20s Id, 22s 6d, 235, 23s lOd, 24s 3d, 26s 9d, 27s 6d, 30s; b.f., 26s lOd, 295; ewes, 2-th, 295, 29s lOd, 31s 3d, 31s 7d ; 4-tli, 29s 3d; wethers, 29s sd, 30s Gd, 31s, 33s 6d. njl ~ Store sheep.—Ewes, 2-tli r.w. A lien of 42 fat lambs on account H* A Hancock, beautifully grown and well covered, sold at 26s 9_d; 9 maiden ewes, on account C. E. Vile, realised 295; 22 2-th w.f. lamhs. on account A. Henson, brought 31s 3d.
