FILM ACTRESS DIES.
MISS JEAN HARLOW
Received June S, 9.50 a.m. NEW YORK, June 7. The death is reported of Miss Jean Harlow, film actress. She had been ill only a few days.'
Miss Harlow, whose real name was Harlean Carpenter, was born in 1911. After working as an extra, she played for two years in Hal. Roach comedies until she secured a part with Clara Bov/ in “The Saturday Night Kiel. She later portrayed sophisticated parts, but latterly has appeared in light comedy roles. She had been married three times.
