MANAWATU SAVAGE CLUB.

KOREROS REVIVED. At the second korero of the Manawatu Savage Club, held on Saturday night, there was an attendance of 200, including a “raiding party” of 60 “braves” from the Wanganui hapu nnder the leadership of Rangitira Pritchard and Past Chief Dr. Adams, The Wanganui members contributed to the programme of songs, sketches, hakas and other items. The orchestra of 25 was made up by the Wanganui and Manawatu players combining. The conductor was Savage Naumann. Amongst the _ novelties presented by the W'anganui visitors were clever solos on a saw and an excellent tin whistle item. A glee party provided some five items while a haka team was most effective. Several visiting savages were present from other clubs. The total membership of the Manawatu Savage Club is now 150.
