THE POPE TO BROADCAST. VATICAN CITY, May 30. The Pope is suffering from a slight return of arterio-sclerosis and is able ’to walk only a few steps. His chief physician, 1 Professor Milan], has ordered a complete rest and vegetarian diet. Nevertheless, His Holiness will celebrate his eightieth birthday on Monday by inaugurating the Papal Academy of Sciences. His speech will be translated into six languages and broadcast throughout the world.
