BULLS.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, May 31. Ideal weather favoured riflemen on Saturday. when a return match between the Rangitikei and Horowhenua District Clubs was fired on the Bulk range. The match was well contested, Rangitikei's lead of 9 on the 300yds range being reduced to 8 "on the 500yds, but Rangitikci drew away on the 600yds range to win by die narrow margin of 9 points. Ten shots were fired at 300’and 500yds, and 7 shots at 600yds, the light then beginning to fail. For Fangitikoi, W. J. Jenkins secured two “possibles,” and R. B. McKenzie, F. Solcr, N. Ainon, and D. Lundy one each. For Horowhenua single “possibles” were recorded by R. -Tantrum and S. Lumsden. Lunch and afternoon tea were provided, Mr A. Thomson returning thanks for the hospitality extended. Mr K. W. Dairymple spoke on behalf of Rangitikci, and congratulated members on the excellent scoring. Detailed scores are as follow: —Rangitikei: R. B. McKenzie, 50—18—34—132; W. J.
