MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

Mr C. L. Mowlem, J.P., presided at a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court, on Saturday, when Patrick Francis Molloy, a labourer, aged 58, was charged with being found drunk in a public place, King Street, on May 28, having been previously convicted of drunkenness within the past six months. Senior-Sergeant Mclntyre asked that a remand be granted until Wednesday. Defendant was very shaky, and a few days’ care would be beneficial. The remand was granted.
