PERSONAL.
Rev. R. Godfrey, formerly Archdeacon of Southern Melanesia, has been instituted as vicar of Aramoho. Wanganui. Friends of Mr John Denson, of Wellington, will regret to hear that lie is ill in a private hospital. Mr Denson was a resident of Palmerston North for about forty years.
Rev. C. A. Tobin, vicar of Burwood, Canterbury, is to retire at the end ot this month after holding his present office for nearly 27 years. Mr Tobin, who is in his 81st year, is the oldest ot the active clergy in the Canterbury and Westland diocese.
