Miss AI. Syme, of Palmerston North, is staying with her mother, Mrs J. oynie, of Hawera, for a few weeks. Miss J. Rabone, of Auckland, is the guest of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs D. Rabone, of Rongopai Street.
The Mayoress (Mrs A. E. Mansford) is spending a holiday in Dunedin for about ten days. Mr and Mrs C. I vouisson, of North Street, have as their guest for the races Mrs T. L. Paget, of Wellington. Mr and Mrs lie id' and daughter, of Milson, motored to Masterton for the week-end, and are the guests of Mrs L. G. Woollett, Solway. Mr and Mrs Perry-Taylor were Hamilton visitors to Palmerston North for the Manawatu races, and were the guests of Mr T. R. Taylor, the gentleman rider and member of the Manawatu Racing Club.
