FARMHOUSE BURNED.

Per Press Association. AVHAKATANE, Alarch 30. A four-roomed farmhouse at Awaken, owned by Air F. Greenup and occupied by Air D. McDonald, a sharemilker, was totally destroyed by fire in the early hours of the morning. ATr AlcDonald and another man employed on the farm returned from the skating rink at AA’hakatano to find tho house in flames. Although there was a heavy rain storm at tho time, it was impossible to save the building or contents. The house and milking shod were insured for £SOO. '
