(From Our Own Correspondent.) TANGIMOANA, Feb. 22. Residents are glad to' welcome back to Tangimoana Mrs J. 11. Kirkham, who lias been severely ill and receiving medical treatment in Palmerston North. Airs Kirkham has considerably improved in health, and the wish of all her friends is that she will continue to improve. Airs A. D. Scott, who has been on an extended motor trip of the North Island, returned on Saturday. Miss M. Quirke, the school teacher, has returned to her duties. Messsrs tVildbore Bros, have finished their new duelling, and when their new motor launch arrives from Nelson they intend to add to the fishing fleet The boats returned yesterday from their activities at deep-sea fishing. They were rewarded with good catches of schnapper and gurnet. . _ . _ , Members of the Tangimoana Surf Club paid an official visit to the Wanganui Club yesterday and spent a very enjoyable and profitable day. On Sunday there was a large trek to Tangimoana. there being hundreds of cars on the beach. The Sunday school resumed ’y es t erc * a y under the superintendent, Air Houghton. Tho instrumentalists for Saturday night’s dance, held in the AlcKelvie Hull, were Mr J. Lofts and Air D. 11. Hnllctt, and Air R. Legg playfl the extras on the piano. The supper was arranged by and attended to by Mesdames V. Martin, A. D. Scott, and 0. Whittaker. The winners of the euchre prizes wore Airs J. Aloehan and Air Eriee Clare. ' ...
