PAHIATUA.

PAHIATUA, Feb. ID. The death occurred at Whakalane this week of Mr E. Sullivan at the ago of 74 years. He was worn in King County, Ireland, and in 1877 arrived in New Zealand and settled in Wellington, where he took over an hotel. lie later moved to Pahiatua, where he took n keen interest in sport. In 1919 he took up his residence in the Bay of Plenty at Edgecumbe, where he farmed for a number of years. Mrs Sullivan died 11 years ago. He is survived by two sons arid five daughters.
