Sterling exchange shows a further increase of £208,012, now standing at £17,901,993. Advances to the State dairy industry account lotal £6,109,698, a further advance of £146,535. Advances to the State for “other purposes’’ arc unchanged at £1,800,000. Gold remains at £2,801,790. Subsidiary coin amounts to £154,474, a decrease of £644. Investments at £3,159,850 show a slight decrease of £4465. Other assets amount to £86,239, an increase of £13,504. Tho note issue continues to contract after the holiday period, and now stands at £13,068,392, a decrease of £144,098. Demand liabilities to tho State stand at £5,039,524, an incroaso of £704,676. The trading banks’ reservo balances total £11,887,286, an increase of £826,202. Other demand liabilities show a big decrease of £1,024,699, and now amount to £385,698. Other liabilities at £133.145 are up by £B6O. Tito statement balances at £32,014,045, an increase of £362,941.
