CITY BAND DANCE.
As there were four dances held in Palmerston North on the same evening, it was anticipated that the attendance at the City Band’s weekly function would be smaller than usual; however, such did not prove the case, the attendance being easily maintained. Mr Bradley provided the extras. The novelties resulted as follow: Gay Gordons, Miss Pritchard and Mr Towls;
Alonte Carlo, Aliss Alitchell (Hastings) and Air McLaughlin; novelty; Miss Ada Dalby; lucky door, Aliss AlcBrearty (Wellington) and Mr AlcGovern.
