OROUA DOWNS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) OROUA DOWNS, Jan. 28. Tho annual meeting of tho Oroua Downs branch of the New Zealand Poultry Producers’ Federation was held recently. The secretary reported that tho finances were in a healthy position and that the number of members was fifteen. Tho election of officers for the ensuing year resulted: — President, Air A. Thomson; secretary, Mr E. W. 'Thompson; committee, Messrs A. Hobbs, W. .Merchant, N. Cottell, J. Craig and Airs Craig; lion, auditor, Air AI. Alills; delegates to district council, Alessrs A. Thomson and W. Murchant. Arrangements are in hand for Mr Kitto, Government poultry instructor, to visit the district in tho near future. At a meeting of the Sports Club the following stewards wore elected Judicial committee, Alessrs T. Grammor, senr., J. Q. Cameron and E. Christensen; home stewards, Alcasrs J. Dench, J.
