FEiLDING SALE. LOWER SUPPLIES. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., report on the Eeilding sale held on Friday: Diminishing supplies were noticeable in almost every department, but, even so, the market retained parity with the previous week’s values. Two races of fat sheep with ewes predominating were cleared steadily, but interest in the store sheep section was restricted owing to short supplies. Values were, however, not affected. Eat cattle were in average supply, cows ex the dairy making up tho bulk; well bred and milk finished cattle mot with keen competition, and a full cleara.nce was effected at the previous week’s rates. Boner cattle, of which the offering comprised one race, showed a slight hardening on the previous week’s values. The offering of dairy cattle was small and the quality indifferent. Quotations were:—Fat wethers. 235, 23s 6d, 24s sd, 25s 9d; fat owes, 18s, 18s 6d, 21s to 22s 3d ; ewe hoggets, to 39s 6d; 2th ewes, 27s 9d, 32s 2d; 2th wethers, 225, 23s sd, 22s 9d and 235; fat cows, ex dairy, £3 ss, £4 2s 6d, £4 10s to £5; fat S.H. heifers, £7, £8 15s; fat P.A. heifers, £7 12s, £7 17s 6<l; springing heifers, £3 10s to £G; weaner heifers, £3, £3 ss, £3 los.
