CLERICAL WORKERS.
A resolution was passed at a special meeting of members of the AA’ellington Clerical Union at Palmerston North on Saturday night to the effect that all employers of clerical workers in the AA’ellington industrial district (embracing AVairnrapa, Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu and Wanganui districts and extending to Wairoa, Raetihi, Ohakune and the Patea River), exclusive of those within a radius of 25 miles of the G.P.0., AA’ellington (already cited), will be cited before tlie Conciliation Council to seek a settlement of the dispute between employers and the union. Major AV. N. Phnrazyn, AA’ellington secretary of the union, attended, and there were delegates from Hawke’s Ray and Wanganui present. Tlie conciliation proceedings will take place at Palmerston North in January. 1937.
