FALLS BY CHILDREN. Shook and concussion were suffered by William Smith, aged 9 years, the son of Mr Y. Smith, of Botanical Road, when lie fell ten feet from a haystack to the ground on Saturday afternoon. He was admitted to the Hospital. Through falling off a bench in her father’s shearing shed at Otaki Forks during the week-end, Molly Shields, aged 10, the daughter of Mr P. Shields, broke her right arm. She was removed to the Palmerston North Hospital. MISHAP ON HIGHWAY. Severe injuries to his shoulder were suffered by Gerald Walllmtton, a farm labourer, aged 29, in a collision with a motor-car, between Palmerston North and Foxton, on Saturday evening. It was reported from the Palmerston North Hospital to-day that his condition was fair.
