JAPANESE IMPORTS.
DUTIES TO BE REVISED. TOKIO, Nov. 28. The Finance Ministry has announced that import duties will be revised to produce an annual revenue of 40,000,000 yen to implement a national policy for staple industries and raw materials. It is understood that the new duties may be imposed on untaxed imported raw materials, among which one of the most vulnerable is wool. One of the avowed objects is to protect new industries, among which is staple fibre.
