ARMISTICE POPPIES.

ORIGINATOR PASSES. Received November 30, 10.10 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 29. The death is announced of Major Howson, who started making Armistice poppies with five helpers in 1922. He developed a factory employing 368 disabled ex-servicemen, turning out thirty million poppies a year.
