FOXON BEACH
ARTESIAN BORE SUNK. (Frpm Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Nov. 27. Although the Foxton Beach Improvement
Society was empowered by the Faxton Harbour Board to proceed with the sinking oi an artesian bore at Manawatu Hcadis to ensure an adequate water-supply only last Monday, the work of sinking the bore was commenced the following day and last evening water was struck between the 60 and 100 foot levels. The bore is located at the western end of Scabury Avenue.
