SEVERE EARTHQUAKE.
SAN JOSE (Costa Rica), Nov. 26. A violent earthquake rocked the entire country. The amount of damage and the casualties are not reported. The Republic of Costa Rica, the most southerly Slate of Central America, extend;n,, across the isthmus, contains an area of 23°000 English square miles and a population of 565,427. The Republic lies between Nicaragua and Panama, and between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Ihe nrincipal exports arc coffee, bananas, cacao, 'old and silver bullion, fresh fruit and timber.
