ATTACK BY MR LANG.

OPERATIONS OF FIRM. SYDNEY, Nov. 26. Launching a strong attack on the Boots company in the Legislative Assembly to-day, the Leader of the Opposition (Mr J. T. Lang-) pledged the next Labour Government to sweep Boots out of New South Wales. Mr Lang argued that Boots was primarily an American company, and was in realitv an international drug combine. He claimed that if Boots opened here existing chemists would be run out of business, and chaos would result. The Premier (Mr B. S. B. Stevens), in reply said that, with the exception of four ’ per cent, ordinary capital, Boots was wholly British.
