WELLINGTON STOCK EXCHANGE.

YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. Business was fairly active oh the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday and another substantial volume or dealings AVas recorded. Sales covered 30 parcels totalling approximately 3000 shares. Dealings were fairly well spread, industrials accounting for the bulk of the business. The markets showed no special features. Australian industrial shares were slightly easier, reacting to Wednesday's movements in Australia. Woolworths were less active, dealings Covering nine parcels of Sydney issues at from £7 10s fid down to £7 14s 6d. Government loans were very quiet with an easy tendency. Less interest was shown in banks. Gas, insurance, meat freezing, woollen, and timber issues were very dull. Breweries were quietly firm. YESTERDAY’b QUOTATIONS.
