WEDDING.
NATHAN—McPARLAND. The wedding was solemnised at Wellington, yesterday, of Mary Beatrice (Betty), only child of Mr and Mrs J. MeParlatid, to Erie, only son of Mr and Mrs Hubert L. Nathan. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents. 8 Park Street, by Monsignor Connolly, and Mr McFarland gave his daughter away. The bride looked a picture in gleaming, silver-white satin—a beautifullycut gown with a long train, lined with cream chiffon, which started below the waistline at the back and fell clear of the frock. The softly-gathered bodice was caught with bow knots, and had a V-shaped neckline, with a row of tiny satin-covered buttons to the waist at the back. Her French tulle veil swept in misty folds to form a second train, and was arranged cap fashion with a halo of orange blossom and myrtle. She carried a ,sheaf of wax-like St. Joseph lilies. Very pretty frocks of bluebell poult were worn by the bridesmaids— Misses Betty Reading, Mary Ritchie (Dunedin), Jessie Peacock and Joyce Nathan, sister of the bridegroom.
