AIRS AV. A. JORGENSEN. Following a serious and prolonged illness, Airs Jorgensen, wife of Air AVilliam Albert Jorgensen, of 42 South Street, Feilding, passed away early this morning. Born at Waikouaiti, in the South Island, 54 years ago, Airs Jorgensen was educated at the Seatoun School and spent her girlhood days in AVellington. Later, with her parents, she came to Halcombe to live, and it was in that township that she was married, in 1920, after Air Jorgensen came back from the AVer. Seven years ago Airs Jorgensen came to Feilding to live, and for the past two and a half years had been a patient sufferer. Prior to her long illness deceased spent much of her time in gardening, being very fond of flowers. There are no children of the marriage. Air H. Pitcher, of Pahiatua Street, Palmerston North, is Airs Jorgensen’s only brother. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to the bereaved husband.
