NO FUNDS FOR POLITICS

Regarding the question of whether a large portion of the Women’s Division funds was devoted to political party purposes, the chairman of the Southern Hawke’s Bay branch of the Farmers’ Union said that no funds of either the Farmers’ Union or the Women’s Division were devoted to political purposes.
