DWARFING NIAGARA.
Two waterfalls each three times as high as the Victoria Falls ' and over nine times as high as the Niagara Falls are claimed to have been found in Southern Rhodesia, says the Press Bureau.
Air M. F. van Diggelen, of Germiston, who is on a 5000-mile road-rov-ing trip in Southern Rhodesia, is tho discoverer of the falls, both of which he claims are 1500 ft high, falling in 500 ft stages. The height of the Victoria Falls is 420 ft and Niagara 158 ft.
One of the waterfalls, Air van Diggelen is reported to have said, is 45 miles north-east of TJmtali and the other is 30 miles south and to the east in mountainous country and is broken every few miles by 1000 ft drops in the levels. People in Southern Rhodesia knew vaguely of the falls, but visitors to the district were ignorant.
