RACES TO DOMINION HORSES. PRINCE QUEX IMPRESSES. MELBOURNE, Oct. 4. New Zealand-bred horses won four of tho seven events at Ficniington, and Barnum filled second place in the hurdles. Mr W. R. Keniball had two wins, his candidate Prince Qucx winning the Melbourne Stakes in a maimer which brought him into, prominence as a V.R.C. Derby candidate, while his Siegfried colt Sunny Morn, after being badly away, won tho first division of the Maribyrnong Trial Stakes for two-year-old colts and geldings. Lochlce, the first of Veilmond’s stock to race, attracted attention by the stylish and effortless manner in which he won the second division of this race. Lochlce, stretching out in a stylo reminiscent of his sire, won easing up in tho smartest time recorded in the three heats for tho juveniles.
