BLACK FRIAR.

RECOVERED FROM INJURIES. Mr 9 M. Curie, of Wanganui, who owns Black Friar, has received word that the colt is in groat fettle, having coniplctely recovered from the injuries sustained. on the trip to Sydney. Mrs Curie intends leaving in order to see Black Friar run at Melbourne, and she is very hopeful, from information to hand, that the colt will distinguish himself in his races and prove that he is one of the best of his age.
