ASHHURST.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) ASHIiURST, Oct. 3. The annual dance of Court Polmngina, Iso. 7313, Foresters’ Lodge, was held in the hall, on Friday evening, when another most successful function eventuated. the hall was gaily decorated with streamers, while bright music was suplied by an orchestra. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Bro. W. Smith. The winners of the Monte Carlo waltz were Miss Harrowfield and Mr Parkes; the Lucky Gay Gordons, Mrs Batten (Feilding) and Mr M. Dorrecn. The winner of a cake was &!r J. Spelman, of Awaliou. Supper was served by the lady members of Court Pohangina. Among those present were: Misses M. Templeton, pink floral georgette; E. Foot, red floral ninnon; L. Grammer, sunset frosted georgette; J. Wilkin pink cellophane and crepe; K. Story,’pink satin; M. Story, pink satin; i\L Lacy, maize georgette; M. Herdman (Feilding); Mrs L. Graham (Feilding), Misses W. Harris, blue floral mnon; L. Ti*imewan, black velvet; 0. Rosonowski (Palmerston North), midnight blue satin; M. Rosanowski, black satin; N. Rosanowski, black velvet and silver lame; Mrs W. Towler (Feilding), black lace and georgette net and floral trimmings; Mrs 11. Batten (Feilding), powder blue floral georgette; Miss Beazer (Feilding), blue floral georgette; Mrs Rosanau (Feilding), black lace and net; Mrs Hyndman, black georgette; Misses E. Mclsaac, royal blue sand crepe; N. Mclsaac, floral maroeain; Mrs Mclsaac, floral sand crepe; Mrs Jones, sea green crope-de-chine; M. Bristow, pink floral georgette; M. Wilkin, lemon georgette. i
