AUSTRIAN HEIMWEHR.
RIVALS FOR LEADERSHIP. VIENNA, Oct. 3. The struggle between Prince Starheinberg and Major Fey for control of the Heimwehr (Fascist movement) is marked by dramatic moves. First of all a partial conference of the party expelled the Prince from the leadership, but last night his supporters, at a larger conference, dismissed Major Fey. The latter conferred with the Chancellor (Dr. Schuschnigg), who has now forbidden newspapers to publish Prince Starhemberg’s communiques. Major Fey has now proclaimed himself supreme leader of the Vienna Heimwehr and declares he will fight the Prince to the end.
