Wale, general secretary of the Sudan United .Mission, addressing the Sydney Millions Club, said that, in the last 10 years 10,000,000 of the primitive black races ot Central Africa had become Mohammedan, because of the changed economic development of the people. There were almost 300,000,000 Mohammedans in the world to-day, who were a menace to Christian people and to the British Empire. Mr AY ale, in his address, discussed the economic, religious, and political situation in Anglo-Egyptian Sudan, which has a population of 8,000,000. The economic development, of those people hail been amazing, said. The slave trade and inter-tribal warfare had been abolished, and extensive cotton culture had been embarked on.
