“QUALITY STREET.”
Those who appreciate attractive comedy, clean, wholesome and with tho song of the English countryside running through, should not miss “Quality Street,” by Sir J. M. Barrie, a play in four acts, which commences a three nights’ season at the Opera House on Wednesday next. The comedy will bo presented by the Little Theatre Society, and is produced by -Mrs S. T. Bristow. Among those taking part are Mis 3 Patricia Lower (Phoebe), Miss Ashby, Mis* Maunder, Miss L. D’Ath and Miss j. Bristow, While male members are Messrs I(. Allison, 13. Louisson, J. G. Griinshaw, It! Stevenson, J. W. Davidson, and ’J’. Bagnall. A feature of the production will be the musical recital (an overture and entr’acte) bv Misses Mona Dean and Cynthia Viekerv and Mr F. Bull, who will present Mozart’s “Allegro” and “Aria,” Beethoven’s “Minuet in G,” Boceharini’s “Minuet,” “Schon Rosmarui” (Kreisler), and a Gavotte by Ernest Jamieson, specially adapted for two pianos hv Mona and Winifred Dean. The box plans open at Messrs Collinson anti Cuiininghame’s to-day for members (preferential booking) and to-morrow for the general public.
