AUSTRALIAN SHARE MARKET
A FIRMER TENDENCY. SYDNEY. Sept. 30. On the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day business in investments was wide in range rather than heavy in volume. Prices were inclined to harden. Bank shares were steady. Dealings in gold shares contracted, and Mandated Alluvials received another heavy setback.
