WOMAN GOLFER’S SUCCESS. (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) Received September 29, 2.10 p.in. LONDON, Sept. 28. Miss Gloria Minoprio, the 25-year-old golfer who uses only one club, tho No. 1 iron, won her first match in the English women’s championship at Hayling, beating Miss G. James, who used the full set of woods and irons. Miss Minoprio, wearing a blue trousered suit and a tight-fitting jersey, says she is convinced that a successful game can be built up with one club.
