ADVANCE TO MADRID.
PRINCE CARLOS KILLED. Received September 30, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 29. The British United Press correspondent at Seville says Prince Carlos was killed in the fighting at Monn shortly before the capture of Eibar, near Bilbao. Prince Carlos, who had been popular among the insurgents, was born in 1908 near the spot where lie was killed. He was a brother-in-law of King Alfonso’s youngest son, Prince Juan. Tangier reports that the Almirante Cervera sank the new destroyer Gravina west of Tarifa. The Almirante Ferrandez went to" her assistance, but was struck by a shell and retreated. The Almirante Cervera is now in pursuit. The Koutoubia is taking the survivors to Casablanca.
The insurgents at Burgos state that the advance towards Madrid from Toledo lias begun. General Cabanellas is reported from Valladolid to have turned down General O’Duffy’s offer of 2000 Irish recruits, saying that foreigners are not wanted.
