RANGITIKEI.

MARTON, Sept. 28,

Mrs T. Barton and Miss Olive Barton, William Street, Marton, who left to-dav for an extended holiday in Great Britain, have been given a round of farewell parties. Recently the United Hockey Club entertained Miss Barton at the residence of Mr and Mrs A H. Wing and presented her with a fountain pen. Miss Barton was given a party by Mrs H. Sherriff and Miss Sherriff on Friday, an excellent time being enjoyed by a large gathering of the younger set. On Saturday night, Miss Barton was given a “picture party.”
