SAVOLDI BEATS WOODS. LEVIN, Sept. 16. Johnson, 10.6 (Palmerston North), on points. Light-heavyweight: R • Walker, 11.5 (Levin) drew with J. McConachie, 11.12 (Palmerston North). . The referee for both tho professional and amateur bouts was Mr W. Nicholls (Palmerston North). BLOMFIELD AND DAVIS DRAW. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Sept. 16. A wrestling contest here this evening between Lofty Blomfield, list 21l>, anti Willie Davis, 18st 61b, resulted in a draw. Davis secured a fall with a body press in the sixth round, and Blomfield evened with a fall by an octopus clamp in the final round.
