I’arkes, who was injured in a motorcycle collision near Bunnythorpe in December, unsuccessfully sued Harold Arthur Beagley, of Palmerston North, a paper runner, in the Supreme Court for damages, the case being withdrawn from the jury after evidence in support of lies claim had been given. Tho Court of Appeal was satisfied that Parkes could not possibly succeed, that the Judge in the Court below was right, and that the leave sought should bo refused.
