A concert and dance in aid of thc_ 'tennis court funds was held Friday evening in Hie Rnngiotu Hall. concert was contributed by the Ford Entertainers, who gave a very bright and (-lever performance. At the conclusion of the programme the chaiman thanked the [tarty lor attending and contributing to the evening's enjoyment. Supper was served by tlie ladies, after which the floor was cleared for dancing, the music being supplied by a professional orchestra. Although the function was not a huge success financially, a very enjoyable evening was spent hv all who attended. . A table tennis match between Baincsac and Glen Oi'oura, played at Glen Oroua. resulted in a win for the latter by 33 games to 3. . Mr C. Caskc is spending a holiday in he north.
