ABYSSINIAN APPEAL.
A POOR RESPONSE. LONDON, July 18. The Abyssinian Minister in London has issued a renewed appeal for £2,600,000 to defend unoccupied west Ethiopia. Donations since July 7 total £561 from 428 people.

Received July 20, 10.3 a.in. ADD I ABABA, July 19. Uprisings in the region of Addis Ababa arc unsettling foreigners, who are in constant touch with the legations for protection.
